Continental East Development’s (CED) Antelope Square Shopping Center tenant occupancy grew robustly in 2024. The center features twenty-five suites that are now fully leased out. With so many suites, there is a wide variety of offerings, from restaurants to salon services, martial arts, and even a pet hotel.
CED’s management team worked closely with Christina Drake, the owner of the Pawtriotic brand, in a recent effort to obtain a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for her business. The approved CUP permitted the opening of the Pawtriotic Pet Hotel, which allows pet owners to temporarily board their pets at her pet resort. Christina also brought her grooming services and dog bakery offerings under the same roof, and it has become a local go-to destination for furry friends.

As the center continues to attract vibrant businesses like Pawtriotic Pet Hotel, momentum is building across the rest of the site. With fully leased suites, CED focuses on the 49,092 square feet at the southwest corner of the existing Antelope Square retail center. CED plans a new 4,350-square-foot addition for a fast-food and retail pad building. This new expansion will provide versatility for retail options, including a drive-thru for a fast-food restaurant, and feature necessary parking and landscaping improvements.
CED is currently drafting construction documents and plans to submit them to the city of Murrieta within the next six months. We anticipate that the completed fast food and retail pad building will be ready for delivery in the fall of 2026.
