Antelope Square
FUND VIII, LLC
Once again, Continental East Development creates profitable opportunities for its investors by bringing new life into an under-performing asset. The original developers of Antelope Square first broke ground in 2007, at the height of the building boom. The project was stalled in late 2008 when funds were not readily available to complete the shopping center, causing a delay in tenant occupancy lease-up.
CED's expert management identified this excellent opportunity for their investors and acquired Antelope Square in November 2010. Under new ownership, a new vision came, and Continental East Development is proud of the shopping center’s success under our expert management. CED transformed a once-failed shopping center into a new destination for local services and restaurants.
Under CED’s guidance, anchor tenants like Walgreens and Jack in the Box operate entirely. Further accommodating the expressed high demand for local food eateries, additional tenants added to Antelope Square include Submarina Sandwich Shop, Milk & Honey Donuts, JJ Sushi, Los Portales Taco Shop, and I Love Boba Michoacana.
Antelope Square also features other quality businesses such as Prestige Dental Group, Antelope Dry Cleaners, Angel Care Pet Hospital, Pawtriotic Pet Hotel, Competitive Edge Batting Cages, Fight Syndicate Martial Arts, The Little Red Barn Playground, Top Nails Salon and Spa, Lashes & Beauty Academy, Evershine Threading, Rico’s Barber Shop, Sleek & Shear Salon, Hearing Aid Center, Smoke Shop, The Vape Lounge, MilVet, and News Financial & Insurance Services.

Preparation for New Building to House Fast-Food & Retail Tenants
With all existing suites fully leased, CED is moving forward with the subsequent development phase at Antelope Square. The company is concentrating on a 49,092 square-foot site at the southwest corner of the retail center. Plans are also underway to build a new 4,350-square-foot building to house fast-food and retail tenants.
This addition will improve the center’s tenant mix with flexible retail space, including a drive-thru option. It will also feature updated parking and landscaping to increase traffic and enhance aesthetic appeal. CED is preparing the construction documents and plans to submit them to the City of Murrieta within the next six months. Project completion is scheduled for fall 2026.
