Winter brought an exuberant amount of rain to Southern California, and the rain has not let up just yet. However, our Continental Villages project, fortunately, completed its retention basins before this rainy season hit, which kept erosion control manageable. Due to the wet conditions, vertical construction will likely commence closer to the end of summer. In addition, given rising interest rates, Continental East Development continues to evaluate the financial feasibility and lending alternatives for phases II & III’s construction. CED is considering phasing the multifamily component to mitigate these interest rates and construction cost risks. We will share more updates as they become available.
