Continental East Development, Inc. Wins Community Business Member of the Year

Moreno Valley has grown immensely in the last year alone, and Continental East Development, Inc. (CED) is proud to be adding to the city landscape and delivering much-needed housing. On August 18, 2022, we had the honor of attending the annual State of the City address. This event highlighted the growth of the city, various programs, outstanding work by community members, and what to expect in the upcoming year.

Legacy of Service

This year’s theme was Legacy of Service, which Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez challenged everyone in attendance to uphold every day to continue making this community great. The address emphasized the great work the city is doing to support our veterans and homeless populations and the efforts to make education more accessible for everyone. Furthermore, he provided insight into future projects at the Moreno Valley Mall, Moreno Valley Town Center and Aquatic Center, and park renovations.

Community Business Member of the Year

Mayor Gutierrez and Master of Ceremonies Marc Lyncheski spotlighted various individuals and companies making positive impacts in Moreno Valley by presenting this year’s Community Leadership Awards. CED received the Community Business Member of the Year award in recognition of our Continental Villages masterplan. Marc described our projects as exciting and sought after before bringing President Al Rattan on stage to accept the award.

Al thanked the mayor, city manager, and staff for the honor. “I’ve never seen a city that’s transformed like this, and it’s been a pleasure to be involved with it,” Al said. “Thank you for allowing us to be part of the community.”

Growth in Moreno Valley

CED is honored to receive the Community Business Member of the Year award. We look forward to the continued growth in Moreno Valley and growing with the city. If you’d like to learn more about Continental Villages, visit Continental East Fund III, LLC.
