Continental East Development, Inc. Donates to CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation’s Scholarship Fund

CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation’s Scholarship Fund Donation

Spirit of the Entrepreneur is a great organization dedicated to celebrating local entrepreneurs and inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs. Lydia Percia Rattan, Senior Vice President of Continental East Development, became acquainted with the organization after her nomination for their award show in late 2021. She made history as the first recipient of the Mary Anne Fox Top Female of the Entrepreneur Award. The night of the award show, Dr. Michael Stull, Founder & Executive Producer, shared that he made a donation of $3,000 to the CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation’s Scholarship Fund and challenged those attending to match his contribution to help provide resources for our up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Lydia knew she wanted to participate, so CED donated $3001 to the Spirit of the Entrepreneur Scholarship in response.

Presenting the Check to Dr. Mike Stull and Stacey Allis

On Wednesday, February 23, Dr. Mike Stull, and Stacey Allis, Producer and Media Specialist, visited CED, upon which Lydia presented them with the scholarship check. Stull and Allis appreciated Lydia’s sense of humor in donating a dollar more than Mike. They assured Lydia that the contribution would greatly benefit the entrepreneurial students at CSUSB.

Spirit of the Entrepreneur Scholarship

The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Scholarship is another opportunity for entrepreneurs to support the new generations of entrepreneurs from CSUSB. Funding for the scholarships comes from faculty, staff, alumni, and successful entrepreneurs throughout the Inland Empire. Each year the school awards approximately $10,00 in scholarships to its most promising and inspiring student entrepreneurs, which helps students fulfill their dreams of receiving a college degree and starting their own venture.

CED Gives Back

Continental East Development is a proud supporter of its local community. With excitement, we look forward to further growth in the Spirit of the Entrepreneur’s program and the great things coming from aspiring entrepreneurs in the Inland Empire.
